Common Tasks;

Upload your CAD drawings straight onto the tablet – no extra software required
Use the Checks app to check drawing scale & offsets are correct
Sketching App allows you to measure existing features of the site and draw in your own design to layout.
Layout of Construction Lines & stakeout of corners using the Prism like a surveyor
Check & establish gridlines on site – most powerful when working on sloped properties
Use Prism to check RLs & Cut/Fill values. Key in the RL you need to find and the tablet will tell you how far up or down you need to go in millimeters
Use Reflectorless to check verticality of framing & walls
Use Survey control, existing gridlines or edge of concrete to setup the total station

Most steel structures are designed in Revit, Tekla, SketchUp or similar software allowing Leica iCON operators to use the 3D IFC models on site to easily stakeout on site. The more complicated the steel structure the better with Lecia iCONs IFC layout Objects App

Tripod Star
