Most earthworks and civil projects are designed in software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads, allowing Leica iCON operators to use the 3D models on site to easily perform the required tasks.

Tripod Star
Most can do without but if you’re setting up the total station on concrete or smooth surfaces its very important that the total station is setup securely, the Leica tripod star is best for this.
